    One of my favorite sushi spots. I have never been let down. Their Philadelphia roll, baked dynamite, and fried scallop appetizer are my favorites. The staff is also pretty friendly. If your looking for a great sushi place in Camarillo, this place has my vote

    We've all had bad days and maybe it just so happened that I visited them on one of theirs.  Ordered chicken teriyaki with California roll, friend had beef teriyaki with California roll.  The meat wasn't even remotely hot, both the beef and the chicken were very thinly sliced so the flavor of the teriyaki sauce was all that we got.  The California rolls were very bland.  Bland color, bland flavor, just bland.
    Service from our waitress was bad, she never brought out the bowl of miso soup until I asked the bus girl for it nor did she ever check on us.  
    The one bright star was the bus girl.

    Please get BROWN RICE on your menu!
    Brown rice sushi is bomb!
    Also, brown rice is great with Teriyaki chicken or salmon!

    My Go-To Japanese restaurant in our small Camarillo.  The food is amazing, fresh and so tasty.  No need for the overly pazz-zed and oversized rolls like the other places - each roll is a great size for its price.  The owner keeps the same great tasting rolls on the menu.  My kiddo has grown up eating Mika for over 10 years, and always puts a smile on his face when Mika is the choice for dinner - that's tough for a 14 year HS boy.  Try everything on the menu - the udon, tempura rolls, sashimi - ALL great!

    Tonight was busier than usual but the wait time was not long at all. Food is always good... I think it's a safe bet to say that you won't be disappointed in the portions or the taste.
    Service was a little lacking this evening but the blonde waitress saved the evening. (I'll have to get her name next time) She is extremely nice and she even came over to our table (who she was not in charge of serving) and took our orders and checked on us! That's a keeper!
